The smART Foundation - polo per l'arte a Roma was born in December 2018 on the initiative of Margherita Marzotto, Stephanie Fazio and Giorgia Rissone, inheriting the five-year history of the previous cultural association and renewing its commitment to become a bridge towards contemporary art, through the promotion of exhibition, educational and cultural activities.

The smART Foundation supports artistic work in its critical interfacing with contemporary reality and is committed to cultivating an essential aspect: communication between the actors of this scene and the public, with a view to hospitality and sharing.

It is proposed as an artistic pole , a place to present and introduce the work of artists, creating opportunities for knowledge and deepening of artistic research.

The activities of the smART Foundation are increasingly aimed at experimenting with contemporary languages : there is, in fact, careful research in the artistic and cultural fields and an openness to comparison and dialogue with the various players on the contemporary scene
