Cavallerizza Torino is the headquarters of Paratissima, a permanent incubator of events, exhibitions, courses, and activities related to contemporary art.

Founded in 2005 as an annual fair for emerging artists, over the years Paratissima has created a network of events at a national (and international) level whose mission has always been to give visibility and increase the exhibition opportunities for artists and talents not yet fully recognized by institutional art circles, also through the establishment of awards or projects aimed at promoting emerging artists such as the Art Production, where selected artists are supported in the production of their works, created exclusively for Paratissima in limited, unpublished, and valuable editions.

In 2021, Paratissima inaugurates the cycle of major exhibitions, a gallery dedicated to portraits of famous contemporary artists. In the new setup, major exhibitions will interact with projects featuring emerging art, artists beyond age and artistic paths. No longer just a fair for emerging and independent artists, but a truly unique cultural and exhibition format.

Increasingly open, dynamic, sustainable, flexible, and increasingly multidisciplinary and international. A vision of contemporary art that emphasizes and strengthens, precisely, the concept of contemporaneity in its most fertile aspects: innovation, change, requalification through culture, accessibility, valorization of emerging talent, creativity.

Today, Paratissima has an exhibition path of over 10,000 square meters that extends through the spaces of the Artiglieria, the Galoppatoio, the Scuderie, the ground floor, and the courtyard of the Manica del Mosca of the Cavallerizza Reale Complex.
