World premiere screening of the documentary testimony of the tenacity of the Kurdish people. Being Kurdish is the irresistible will to exist. An exciting first film that expresses and manifests the resistance of the largest people without a homeland. The identity perpetually denied told through the unprecedented and dramatic footage taken by a Kurdish journalist during the siege of Cizre in the never-born Kurdistan. Following the film screening, there will be a debate with the director in the presence of journalist Luciana Castellina, who has always closely followed the Kurdish issue. Screening Kurdbun - Being Kurdish by Fariborz Kamkari, Italy / France 2021, 90'. Followed by a talk with Pietro Barrera, Secretary General of the MAXXI Foundation, Luciana Castellina, journalist and writer, and Fariborz Kamkari, director. Free admission by reservation.
