Casa Balla, in via Oslavia in Rome, reopens to the public from 22 September 2023 to 28 January 2024 .

After first opening in 2021, the MAXXI National Museum of 21st Century Arts in Rome once again celebrates the futurist genius, Giacomo Balla , with the reopening of his incredible futurist home in Rome , a truly total, admired work of art by scholars, academics, art historians and the public around the world.

Casa Balla was in fact the house where the artist lived for more than thirty years: here Balla 's art is everywhere, starting from objects for everyday use such as tables, chairs, shelves and plates.

For the entire Balla family, C asa Balla was a creative workshop, an experimental laboratory, a workshop, a universe created by Giacomo Balla and his daughters, Luce and Elica , in which functionality and aesthetics coexist.

Casa Balla represents a fundamental piece in the culture and history of Italian and world art, as well as being a source of inspiration and point of reference for young generations of artists.
