The exhibition is part of the policy of cross-exchange with Italian and foreign museums, promoted by the Galleries, which on this occasion involves the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston. The American museum lends two tables, rare as well as precious, of the Italian fourteenth century, among the most important pieces of its collection, to Palazzo Barberini, while the National Galleries will send Hans Holbein's Portrait of Henry VIII to Texas for an exhibition on the Tudors.
