The Museum La Permanente (Society for Fine Arts and Permanent Exhibition) is a non-profit organization located in Milan.
A historic institution in the Milanese and Italian art scene, the organization is based in Palazzo della Permanente, in via Turati, designed in neoclassical style by the architect Luca Beltrami and built with the specific purpose of hosting art exhibitions and shows.
For over a century, La Permanente has been carrying out cultural promotion and dissemination activities, through the organization and realization of monographic and thematic exhibitions, as well as historical reviews, also in collaboration with national and foreign Museums, Institutions, and Entities.
An extraordinary artistic and archival heritage, consisting of a wide collection of works from the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries and a vast specialized library, documents the history of the organization from its foundation to the present day.
