Gallery I of the Collector's Room and the Magnolia Cloister from 8 November 2022 to 8 January 2023 will be the ideal setting for the new solo show by Omar Hassan " The world is N(v)ostro ", an exhibition organized and promoted by the Stelline Foundation , with the patronage of the Lombardy Region and the Municipality of Milan.

Having become famous for his very personal action painting and his unmistakable style, of great visual and emotional impact, Omar Hassan sees a metaphor for life in the gesture of combat and transforms it into art, conquering collectors such as De Niro, Spike Lee and Sharon Stone .

Solid classical training at the Brera Academy, where he graduated from the painting course held by Alberto Garutti, Omar Hassan has always experimented between painting and sculpture, in a spontaneous dialogue. In the exhibition project designed for the spaces of the Stelline Foundation, Omar Hassan goes beyond the label of "artist boxer" that made him famous, to reveal new aspects of his art, mirror and expression of different moods, explosion of energy and at the same time intimate introspection.

Time and the obsession with its passing underlie Hassan's artistic research. But it's not just the memory of the sporting experience, where a fixed time marks the game rounds in the ring: it's also the time of his life, the one that requires him five injections of insulin every day. «I have chosen to do things that make me live forever», he writes in his first book Per le strada published by Baldini + Castoldi in 2021 with a preface by Marco D'Amore and Mondo Marcio.
