From 8 March to 12 June 2022
Dedicated to the figures of Marco Zanuso and Alessandro Mendini, the exhibition produced by ADI Design Museum is characterized by the ability of the protagonists to enhance the relationship between design and architecture. In addition to the comparison between the choice of the design method of one and the postmodern procedure of the other, aimed at the poetic reworking of given images, a deeper reflection is presented, which highlights how the path of both developed in a range full of attention, in two different but both complete visions. The evidence of this distance appears immediate if we look at the respective formal and aesthetic outcomes; through their works, in fact, they suggest some reflections accentuated by the possibility of admiring them simultaneously and, precisely because they are placed one in front of the other, they are able to stimulate a game of references, contrasts and influences.
