Benedetto can be considered one of the most versatile and multifaceted sculptors of the contemporary age: the experimentation of materials (precious stones, bronze, cement, resins and silicones), the combination of plastic techniques and the mixture of realistic and visionary language allow us to address thorny social issues and complex, showing the contradictions of everyday life with an intimate and original critical gaze. His works suggest to the observer insoluble but necessary questions, probing themes such as the relationship between man and fetish, the dialogue between adulthood and childhood, the alienation of today's era and the sentimental repression of a historical moment in in which, ever more dangerously, the object tends to replace the subject.

In the site-specific installation created for the Complesso della Cavallerizza, a man climbs up to the window of the artist's studio, perennially poised but firmly anchored.
