All of Daniel González's work is centered on the rite of celebration , understood anthropologically as a collective practice and set of values and symbolic devices that are the common denominator of all societies in the various historical periods.

The dimension of the party escapes the dominion of the rational and constitutes a universal lexicon : inhibitions drop, attitudes change considerably to leave room for a sense of lightness and freedom . During the celebration, the feeling of group and community life prevails, unhinging hierarchies and social conditions and giving rise to a collective situation of democratic equality, in which relationships between people are simply governed by instinct and spontaneity.
Celebratory rites find their greatest expression in the Baroque era in Bernini's historic party machines , which ideally inspire the ephemeral architectures staged by González in the various site-specific installations created on an international scale.
Parade Curtains is a project conceived and created especially for the Cavallerizza complex , to celebrate the reopening of this space and its re-appropriation by the community.
