Integration carried out by the mason Casucci, referable to the "block" detachment of the Madonna del Parto, in which the work was cut and the upper part removed. This detachment could have occurred during the transformations of the church of Santa Maria in Momentana, to re-adapt it to a cemetery chapel at the end of the eighteenth century.
On the occasion of the 1992 restoration, it was decided to separate this fragment from the fifteenth-century painting, keeping it separately.
