ACP – Palazzo Franchetti is a new reality on the Grand Canal in Venice , dedicated to the promotion of Italian art and culture and beyond, through innovative and high-profile exhibitions that invite us to reflect on the developments of art or that allow us to delve deeper into the knowledge of Italian and foreign artists, also through exchanges with Italian and foreign institutions and foundations, and the contribution of important scholars.
To date, if an exhibition like " Jean Dubuffet and Venice " (2019), created in collaboration with the Fondation Jean Dubuffet in Paris, aimed to present the two key moments of Dubuffet's art, both of which took place in Venice (the exhibition at Palazzo Grassi of 1964 and his participation in the 1984 Biennale), with “ Massimo Campigli and the Etruscans. A pagan happiness ” (2021) we collaborated with Italian institutions (Superintendency of Fine Arts, Landscape and Archeology for southern Etruria) and provided the keys to an unprecedented in-depth study on the art of one of the masters of the Italian twentieth century.
The more historic program is also accompanied by the construction of a collection of contemporary works of art dedicated to "green" themes through the ACP Green Art Award.
Palazzo Franchetti , with a historic facade and a rare garden on the Grand Canal of Venice, stands near the Accademia Bridge and is the preferred exhibition venue for ACP .
