A museum that traces the profiles of the mountains that surround it. Six floors of pure wonder, dedicated to alpine nature, to the origin of life, to innovation and sustainability in Renzo Piano's luminous and eco-sustainable architecture. The MUSE - Trento Science Museum is a mandatory stop for experiencing knowledge. A real experience among exhibition itineraries, temporary exhibitions, scientific collections and educational workshops for families and children, which looks at the great local and planetary themes with a view to building a better future together. Inaugurated in July 2013 in the former Michelin industrial area, MUSE combines the traditional approach of natural history museums with the new ways of interacting with the most modern science centres, with interactive exhibits and multimedia installations. The building, which plays with the surrounding environment in a balance between solids and voids, retraces the metaphor of the mountain to describe life on Earth. The plot of the stories between nature and science, past and future, art and sustainable development, finds life in experimentation, discovery and play.
