The Carla Fendi Foundation was founded in 2007, when the homonymous founder retired from the world of fashion, with the aim of producing, supporting and promoting cultural events, mainly in the field of art. To this sphere of action since 2017, after the death of the founder and the new Presidency of Maria Teresa Venturini Fendi, a particular interest in science has been added, also understood as intuition, research and as a new form of art.

In these fields, the Foundation assumes sponsorships, establishes scholarships, makes donations in the areas of which they are found: common purposes. It participates in and gives contributions and assistance to the activities of organizations that promote the same cultural values. In every initiative the Foundation moves with actions of pure patronage and therefore is characterized by an exclusive use of its own financial resources. It operates without profit and without promotional purposes aimed at the advertising diffusion of a particular product.
