The Harry Bertoia Gallery is located in the historic center of Pordenone. The Gallery is located inside the Spelladi palace of fourteenth-century origins. The current architectural complex of Palazzo Spelladi is the result of events that have taken place over the centuries: amalgamations, demolitions and volumetric changes. Today the building houses the Harry Bertoia Gallery, inaugurated in 2014 as an exhibition venue. The exhibition venue was named after Harry Bertoia, a very famous designer and designer in the area. One of Bertoia's most famous works is the famous Diamond: a chair-sculpture in iron rod, open and dialoguing in space. He himself described it as "a sculpture made of air and steel". His creative activity is also evidenced by drawings, engravings, sculptures, goldsmith creations and design objects. The Gallery hosts temporary exhibitions, conferences and cultural events related to design.
