The Treasure Museum of San Gennaro is located inside the Cathedral of Naples , in the historic center.

The Chapel of San Gennaro and the Treasures tell the story of the roots of Naples, of its thousand-year-old civilisation, of its popular culture and of the devotion to the Patron Saint. The Treasury, in addition to the relics, houses a priceless heritage of objects of worship and devotion in gold, silver, bronze and precious stones. Over the centuries, these riches have been donated to San Gennaro by members of the Deputation of the Royal Chapel of the Treasure of San Gennaro, by Neapolitan and foreign sovereigns who have reigned or visited Naples, by popes and by the people.

The Chapel and the Sacristies are also among the most important monuments of Neapolitan Baroque.
