Casa Museo Spazio Tadini is a private house open to the city since 2006 to display its collection of contemporary art and works by the artist and writer Emilio Tadini (1927-2002 Milan). The space also hosts temporary art and photography exhibitions and cultural events of various types. The house museum includes a library, a large hall with permanently exhibited works by Emilio Tadini, some exhibition rooms, and the studio of the owner Francesco Tadini, a photographer .
The museum is located inside the building in which he lived since he was a child because his father had a home and studio in the building where the publishing and printing house, Grafiche Marucelli, was also based, which, in the early 1900s, printed and distributed the first economic journals. The museum also houses ancient printing machinery and documents from the ancient publishing activity as well as manuals of moral and patriotic economic education.
The Spazio Tadini House Museum also houses the Emilio Tadini archive curated by Melina Scalise, responsible for the museum's events.
