The Tate Liverpool is a British museum which is part of the larger Tate museum complex.
It is located in the city of the same name, in the Dock area and was built by recovering an old warehouse. The construction, completed in 1988, was inaugurated in the same year in the presence of Prince Charles. After several years, in 2007, the spaces of the Tate Liverpool were redesigned by an English architectural firm, Arca, to improve their distribution and overall layout. Even the colors, in which orange predominates, have been specially designed for the characteristic brick environments.
The Liverpool office constantly hosts temporary exhibitions and cultural events that animate the city, including the Liverpool Biennial of Contemporary Art.
