The exhibition will deepen the knowledge of the three works by Giacomo Ceruti present in the collection, Il bravo and La Vecchia contadina , examples of Lombard realism and fundamental to the painter's catalogue, and Diana and the nymphs surprised by Actaeon , a work that demonstrates his adherence to the great Venetian painting of the eighteenth century, placed in dialogue and comparison with the Veneto and Venetian art already present in the museum and with important loans from prestigious cultural institutes and important private collections.

The exhibition itinerary will thus allow for an in-depth analysis of Ceruti's stylistic change in the passage between Lombardy and Veneto.
