With the exceptional loan of Rembrandt's youthful self-portrait from the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, the Carrara Academy of Bergamo inaugurates a new appointment dedicated to great European painting from 9 July. A special occasion that offers the opportunity to get to know the Dutch artists of the museum, in a new dedicated exhibition, and allows to deepen the themes of the portrait, the self-portrait and the search for oneself. The young Rembrandt observes the viewer from a poetic place, partially emerging from the shadows with disheveled hair. Meeting his gaze is pure emotion.
