The composition, entirely based on two concrete symbols such as a pair of stylized soles and the design of a labyrinth, seems like an abstract composition. The two yellow soles, footprints of someone, contradict the symbol and function of the labyrinth, an element that intrigues and imprisons. They do not follow its distressing path, but trample on it, putting it out of action. The poster has a strong visual and communicative impact, evoking the sole as an object so powerful as to dominate any road. Munari, a major figure in 20th-century design and graphics, speaks through images of the product without showing it.
