This museum shows contemporary art by Dutch artists who were born in the 1950’s and gained international acclaim through galleries and art fairs. Musiom is situated on the edge of the historic centre of Amerfoort, The Netherlands.  

Expect a wide variety of art works as this museum has set itself a goal to show to collect and display many different styles and forms of art typical to the generation Musiom is representing.

There are three main exhibition per year showing both works from the museum collection and artworks on loan from artists, collectors or other museums.

Musiom is a private museum that makes no claim on public funds. To cover it’s costs  it relies on tickets, donations and the sales of artworks through the museum gallery, which is situated on the second floor of the museum.

On the third floor you will find the studio of internationally acclaimed artist Vanhorck, who is a permanent artist in resident. The studio is open to visitors during opening hours of the museum.
